Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative process engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. As a process engineer, you will collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodology, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Knowledge of process automation and control systems, including PLC and SCADA.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or COMSOL would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Utilize statistical process control to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure effective implementation of process improvements.
  • Design and optimize equipment and systems to improve process performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to production teams on new processes and equipment.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of process performance and improvement initiatives.
